I was in charge as a UX and UI designer for creating the prototype for this website during this project while I had an eye on time limitation and also vigilant competitors.
I have conducted competitive analysis and prepared a SWOT analysis to be able to see how I can change the threats to opportunities.
Then I conducted user survey with about 15 questions among approximately 10 possible users. Based on that survey I created personas, journey map, and empathy map. After that I wrote a couple of user stories based on the surveys conducted, and made separate user flows based on each user story. Eventually I made a site map to be able to have an over view on how the website is going to work.
Then I started to draw wireframe sketches on paper and after reaching good amount of wireframes, I started to create digital wireframes based on the sketches.
I've created clickable prototypes and went through review and iterate stages and after a bit of research I found that there are specific colours that the same websites are using. I went through the meaning of the colours and with that in mind I selected couple of colours to be used in my website. While doing that research I also was working on best practices and mental models.
With the research for colours and other ideas collected, I started to prepare a style tile and a couple of mood boards to be able to express my emotions about the website. I also conducted typography and found that to to agile work of radiologists, my website's font needs to be extremely legible. So that I chose Avenir and Roboto typefaces.
After that I started creating logo and name for the website and after designing that I started the hi-fidelity prototype and conducted usability tests, which is always a great help to understand the possible problems the website might have, and I fixed those problems.
If you are interested in my works and believe that we might be able to work together, don't hesitate and drop me a line. We can talk over that and make it happen!
